The phrase 'beyond coincidence' is often used on this forum, here in Mysteries also in Inner Space and Paranormal. Since coincidences happen all the time, at what point is it objective to decide that a comparison or a correlation is *beyond* coincidence? The latest post I have just read (in the pi or no pi topic) contains the phrase, so I shall be interested to read views.
We humans are very good at spotting coincidences, and in looking out for them, since it has obviously proved to be an extremely successful, evolutionary survival strategy but, as the saying goes, correlation does not equal causation, etc.
