Several Ancient Egyptian solar ships and boat pits were found in many Ancient Egyptian sites.[1] The most famous is the Khufu ship now preserved in the Giza Solar boat museum beside the Great pyramid at Giza. The full-sized ships or boats were buried near Ancient Egyptians' Pyramids or Temples at many sites. The history and function of the ships are not precisely known. They might be of the type known as a "solar barge", a ritual vessel to carry the resurrected king with the sun god Ra across the heavens. However, some ships bear signs of being used in water, and it is possible that these ships were funerary barges.
The history and function of the ships are not precisely known, and they show signs of being used in water. As there is no evidence of ramps, some other method would need to perform the lift. If you except 18 to 50 men lugged single stones up ramps, then you understand working in unison. Another function of men working in unison, is when they paddle their boats and ships. To some extent, the paddle is a lever, with a blade on one end. They gained momentum, by working in unison.
In the picture below, they are in essence, doing the same thing. Rowing the boat, with one very important distinction. They are outside the boat, pulling on levers. The outcome is basically the same. Men working in unison with levers.
This is the only way you could move an obelisk on and off a boat, ie. leverage. The same method works up on the Pyramids. Not all the boat pits were for Funerary ships. The Barges were used as a method of lifting heavy weights. Sliding a Platform up the face, is the shortest in time and distance.
I am not going to bore you with the math, unless you ask. 36 men pulling 50lbs. each, moves ( 4 stones) 20,000lbs. up the Pyramid. No ramps needed!

Could the same simple method work for Kufu? Why not? Once the stones are removed from the platform, it's weight will slowly pull the boat back into position.
