See: World's Largest Ancient Statue at Shravanabelagola - Built with Machines?. See: Gommateshwara statue. Now what makes this interesting is this statue is carved from a single piece of white granite, and is 57 feet tall and weights more than 1000 tons (2 million pounds). It was carved and moved up 400 feet to a hilltop more than 1000 years ago. The white granite is not native to the site, so it is not the case that an existing granite extrusion was carved.

I think the video makes some good points, although I think it goes off the track near the end.

Clearly India of 1000 years ago was more advanced than the Ancient Egyptians. But they did not have modern technology, just rope, pulleys, iron tools, and elephants. They had to haul this thing up that hill in top picture. And I suspect it was already carved, because if they carved it on site, it would have been 3 to 4 million pounds. So how did they do it?
