The Sumerian Kings List details the length or reign for Alulim (28,800yrs), Alalngar (36,000yrs), En-men-lu-ana (43,200yrs), En-men-gal-ana (28,800yrs), Dumuzid the shepherd (36,000yrs), En-sipad-zid-ana (28,800yrs), En-men-dur-ana (21,000yrs) and Ubara-Tutu (18,600yrs)…. and other Sumerian kings that followed.
This section of the kings list details the longest period of reign within the list. All of the reign periods are divisible by 6.
(Sorry to be rude, has anyone have a reference whereby the sine-function of the reign duration within the dynasties is already displayed?)
How accurate was the translation of this portion of the king's list? It's a mystery, to me, that the duration of reign is divisible by 6 for each of the first kings of the list.
