Hi Everyone!
I'm basing this new proposal on my previous post in that it's demise was from the collapse of a huge inland sea on the continent of Africa. I propose that the Atlas Mountains all of them were located in center of northern Africa, and help in the sea along with a crater wall on the east side of Africa. This collapse was possible due to I propose pre-existing fractures from the KT boundary impacts as well as the younger dryas impacts and possibly an air burst or direct hit maybe in the inland sea that caused the earthquake that produced the failure, and I also propose the buildup of water added to the movement of the mountains and crater wall section at the same time allowing the inland sea to push the mountains they had already been undercutting through the fractures, making the mountain ranges pre-disposed to failure under the right circumstances.
This new information also provides insight to how large amounts of water may have eroded the great sphinx enclose. This in my humble opinion is the most likely cause of erosion on the great sphinx enclosure. As world temperatures rise the inland sea over poured its banks on the eastern side and was an ancient source of the Nile River and its possible there is a dam that gave way on that end allowing larger amounts of water to inundate Egypt and this is why it was summered in water with a shallow sea for a period?
The moving of the atlas mountains caused a huge tsunami and there is proof of that in Spain. Also in Spain right across from the Atlas Mountains is my New Proposed site for Atlantis. Right across and diagonally from my previous proposed site between Africa and Spain. This new site is buried by the collapse of the inland sea of northern Africa. The new site has 4 concentric rings and from 75 inner to 100 miles outer edge which may have been deformed by the tsunami that hit, with an island in the center and a connecting plain.
I think either could be the right location, I am going by the old location of the Pillars of Hercules not the Straights of Gibraltar, which Plato says mud blocked sea travel and I propose the inland lake failure and movement of the atlas mountains along with the tsunami closed the gap and for a time blocked the straights. Both locations are partly facing land with mountains and the other facing the ocean/sea.
Edited Added:9/24/18 6:27am EST The straights being blocked for a period plus the water that drained from the inland sea would have flooded the entire Mediterranean Sea coastline and backed up water in Egypt allowing Egypt to be in an inland sea environment until the straights cleared and the water drained back out.
Best Regards & Shalom
