I apologize if this is posted incorrectly. Also
Every since I’ve have the pleasure of hearing Mr. Hancock speak about ancient global catastrophic events and the part ancient myths play in helping humans recover important lessons that were wiped out of existence. I have often wondered about the part some Greek myths play.
One I was mulling over, concerns the theory that the stones may have been moved using sound. This theory matches with the story of Orpheus and his magically Lire. This Lire was special, in that it had 9 strings. The strings were for each of the 9 muses. The Lire when played by Orpheus could make rocks float up and trees dance. The Lire was also helpful during the voyage of the Argonauts. Orpheus sang and played the Lire and it kept the rocks from crushing the ship.
Another concerns the Greek Myth about the birth of the world. The coming together of Gaia and Uranus. Which resulted in birth of the
Titans, the Cyclops, the Giants and the Hecatonchires. These offspring rebelled against Uranus and separated it from Gaia. It speaks also of the battles between the Titans and Zeus said to have lasted thousands of years only to be followed by another against the Giants that lasted even after man came along. There are so many, many different human type figures in Greek myths and many married and produced offspring.
Anyway, I find Greek history and the ancient myths fascinating. I also never believed what I was taught in school about how the world began or how old it possibly could be. It’s unbelievable to think humans just all of a sudden just came along and knew how to build a pyramid? They had to learn it from someone and so on.
I now find it even more exciting when looking at Mr. Hancocks work and reading his books, (not all yet). Even the story of the Pythia who live in a sacred area in the temple of Apollo. She sat and was surrounded with smoke and incense that she breathed in. This allowed her to communicate the with the Gods. She was said to be able to see into the future and communicate the will of the Gods to man. Could she have been smoking DMT and really did communicate with beings that wanted man to know the information that man needed to know?
I am in no way a scholar and I am not in anyway trying to claim anything or start anything. I just think it’s interesting. I hated school but now that I’m older and have near infinite access to information. I love learning and being introduced to people who have amazing open minds.
