Plate tectonics questions about no possible vertical crust movements like emergence or subsidence of Mid Ocean Ridge area (1 reply)

This is a re-posting to Atlantis location thread, which partially led to a discussion (to be continued) about sea floor spreading proved by magnetic anomalies, thus disproving any possibility of uplift or subsidence in Mid Atlantic Ridge area in a remote past (say about 12000 years ago...)
May be a hard dispute, but critical and useful on some aspects of Lost Civilization theory.
