Orion’s Belt, pyramids, and climate change (2 replies)

This idea hit me the other day and I haven’t found any serious exploration of the theory. Hang in there with me. I’m ballparking these epochs but that’s the entire point. The Sphinx appears to show signs of erosion consistent to rainfall which wouldn’t have been common for the climate unless it was built before around 10,000 BC. The Great Pyramids of Egypt aregenerally thought to have been built around 2,000-3,500 BC, however, they would have aligned almost perfectly around 10,000 BC with Orion’s Belt at a point in time where the the climate was fertile and bountiful. Teotihuacán is thought to have been constructed around 3,500 BC I think. Here’s the point: Pyramids or structures of three have been constructed around the world since basically the dawn of civilization and it seems like a mystery. Given that the earth has gone through so many periods and climate changes, could it be possible the pyramids or monuments were built to match Orion’s Belt at the point in time when that particular part of the Earth was fertile and bountiful? Almost as if to say, at this moment in time, this is where we thrive. Macchu Picchu even has structures that seem to place importance of some stellar alignment with three windows or holes. I haven’t been able to find when in time the Belt was above these specific places (Giza, Teotihuacán, Macchu Picchu, the Hopi) but let’s explore this. I could be totally wrong, but the what if is amazing.
