Maya city on Atlantic Coast ? (1 reply)

There is an 143 acre city in Southern Florida that has obvious astronomical functions that to date have not been confirmed by scientific community. There are several maps of Mounds of Florida yet this city with its 23 mounds , the central being 220 ft in diameter and 30 ft high is only on a limited amount of maps. In the 1930s the Smithsonian was here but suddenly packed up and left. There are many stories regarding both Natives living with tall red headed Whites ( Thats all we need given todays horrible racist climate) .I would also like to ask why this city is so different from others. The archaeological pros appear to have continual avoidance of discussion of a cultural phenomenom that it doesnt understand. The sight has a supposed date of only 500 bc , But we believe it is much ,much older. Also is anyone familiar with Richard Thorton & People of One Fire /Origins of the South Atlantic coast and the Mayas? Please excuse my writing as I spend much of my time in the field in Southern Florida. Im not giving all the information as the sight sits completely overgrown and pretty much forgotten.Again excuse my spelling and penmanship as it is most lacking.Up for a dig Graham?
