I live a few miles from the Cahokia Mounds and have for my entire life. As magnificent as the mounds are and the current theories for why the mounds were built/ what happened to these people has always puzzled me.
After listening to several of Graham Hancocks books including his last book “ America Before “ I really started to look at the world/ land that I drove through every day.
Graham’s case of a technology advanced civilization that existed in North America that was wiped off the map based on the Younger Drys Impact Hypothesis kept flooding into my thoughts ( no pun intended).
I started thinking of what would that civilization look like now over 30,000yrs later after being drowned under water for about 20yrs by the great flood and suddenly something clicked.
The Cahokia Mounds location is a few miles from the Mississippi River inside the Mississippi River Valley. These massive and well planned mounds were built around 900AD. The alignment of these mounds were very specifically built with the astronomical alignment of Orion as well as Monks Mound, the largest prehistoric man made structure in North America. Monks Mound alignment with true north is off by 5 degrees.
Graham, I think I know why!
I’ve watched the sunrise on the winter solstice from the top of Monks Mound, and I watched the sun set as well. The sunrise was amazing!! But when the sunset I realized that the consolation of Orion arose in the East, and just 5 degrees off of true north and that makes you look toward the town of Highland Illinois.
I work in Highland and live just west of there so , due to my job, I drive in and out of this great little town 4 times a day 5 days a week. There are 3 giant “hills” “natural land formations “ that made think!
Each of these, hell I’ll say it, Pyramids are more that twice the size of Monks Mound and the biggest is about 30 acres. Orion aligned perfectly with these 3 pyramids on the winter solstice.
I drove to the top of 2 of theses massive hills and pined my location on google maps, there’s houses on the the top of these properties, and they have a killer view from there front porches! The biggest mound/hill/ natural land formation/pyramid I walked up, yea up , a plowed corn field to one of the 3 crown points of the top and it was almost a half mile up hill. It’s been a farm field for almost 200yrs and you can still see the Saint Louis Arch ( over 25miles away) from the top on a clear day! Hell they call it Acrh Hill.
The google maps longitude/latitude I pined are

If one really looks at the Mississippi River bluffs these are East of where the River would have been before the comet fragment impact. The size of the Mississippi and the Illinois River and the Ohio River would have been miles wide for each River which would have made a huge chunk of southern Illinois an island! The way the creeks , streams and weird valleys occur in today’s landscape carve around all of the high ground but 30,000yrs ago very well could have been man man canals that feed from these giant rivers that were the “highways “ for shipping anything and everything an advanced civilization needed. 30,000yrs ago as is now, it’s still some of the most valuable and best farm land in the world, and these hills, landscapes, mounds, anomaly’s of earth situate around the entire county it looks like boroughs of a greater civilization that was made of mud/clay bricks fired from the coal that cane up while digging the canals that built a massive city with all the pyramids bells and whistles... that was flooded and underwater for about 20yrs or so then many years later someone or something showed humans how to mimic there building style and religious culture and put Monks Mound 5* off true north on purpose to make us look right at these Pyramids.
I have taken pictures of these massive things and have researched the history of the town, area, county and nobody has ever looked under these .
These structures could be a mirror of ancient Egypt only they were bigger and didn’t hold there true form after the flood. But they still stand. And Monks Mound is the clue to make us look just off true East. There is so much flat land for miles and miles on the Illinois side of the Mississippi until ya always seen to find a cluster of rolling hill conglomerates much much higher that the creeks then big Mounds/Hills / Pyramids that once were.? There’s even 2 smaller mounds but still pronounced just off the biggest one in Highland that would sit just about where the Sphinx sits from the Great Pyramid if Giza.
If you read all this I’ll tell you I’m not crazy (not all the time anyway) I could not sleep or think straight until I shared this with someone/anyone who might think the same way or be able to use goggle maps and see for themselves.
