10500 BC Stellarium (no replies)

Hi, I'm new to all this but thoroughly enthralled by it. I have a question for some of the members more enlightened than myself. I've have been using the desktop app Stellarium to look at the skies above Cairo in the year 10500 BC and have been left somewhat confused. The first thing I noticed is that, on the vernal equinox, the sun is not rising due east, and also as Graham H suggests, the constellation of Leo is not "housing" the sun at this time at this location. So my question is, what am I doing wrong, is it an issue with the software, or an issue with my understanding? If the latter, please correct my assumptions as I had assumed, through reading, that in this epoch, the sun should be housed in Leo at this time in this location and exactly due east?

Thanks in advance
Nick
