Let us clear this up the Royal cubit = 20.625 inches..... imperial inches.

The reason is and Jim Alison has mentioned Fibonacci. They want to find even numbers so they use an approximate for pi.

20.625 x pi = 64.79534848 ok multiply by 2 = 129.59 Do you see the number 12.96?

12.96 is what is known as the Olympic foot the foot of Olympia.

20.625 x 3.1418181818 = 64.8 x 2 = 12.96.

They are using Greek feet 12.15, Roman feet 11.664, Indus feet 13.2 and the foot of Olympia 12.96. Oh yeah Imperial feet especially in Scotland how ironic.

And the Royal cubit is divided into 25 digits each .825 inches by 16 digits = 1 foot Indus foot/Saxon foot 13.2 inches.

The ancients devised a system of weights and measures that were far superior to our present system.

Instead of looking for complicated computations, yes look at the square root of 2 and cube root of 2 but it has to be within an existing system of measures.

I think anyway.

Best

Jim
