Hello again,
Regarding the Great Pyramid: Whilst it's apparent that the 'Dynastic' Egyptians may have had a thing for the Sun, NOTHING rules out other planetary bodies being just as significant - as far as the GP is concerned. (We still don't know who built it, why, or when.)
A radical re-appraisal of the shafts and passages which are open to the sky is in order, taking into account ALL the planets in the solar system and beyond, and how they relate to these openings and their line of sight angles. I'd start with the moon, it's closest and we know that it has effects on the Earth - constantly changing effects at that. Other cosmic bodies must also exert influences, on Earth and on each other - to greater or lesser degrees.
Why look for distant stars as the targets of these Pyramid shafts and passage openings, when closer objects exert far more influence on the earth? An ever changing influence at that, as they're constantly shifting their relative positions. The GP wasn't designed to be a tomb, anyone with an IQ in double digits can see the flaws in that theory - it's pure nonsense. (Why is there a 'Valley of the Kings' if they were all buried in pyramids?)
The huge so-called Main entrance is, I believe, the hoisting structure for the larger blocks - the 'chevrons' being there to provide support for the platform, [pulleys,] hoisting ropes and their loads - a bipod rather than a tripod. Once the hoisting was done, the whole thing was buried behind the casing, the logical thing to do with an obsolete device too substantial for easy dismantling.
I read a book recently which posited that the GP was designed to 'electrify' water travelling through the descending passage. Much of the book describes a bunch of unrelated and disjointed ideas - quite like Dunnes' TGPP - but there are a couple of ideas that actually made me sit up and take notice. Who thinks that the magnetic field of the Earth rotates along with the planet, and at the same rate? Suppose the magnetic field is largely static, with the Earth rotating within it. This would mean that any given point on the planet is constantly passing through magnetic field lines - including the Pyramid and all its' contents. (Induction anyone?) The author suggests that the 26 degrees angles of the passages, and their orientation of N-S has some 'magical' significance, but the fact is, if you wanted to induce current into a conductor, it must travel through the magnetic field lines - which ARE ORIENTED N-S - in an E-W or W-E direction, which the rotating earth does 24/7.
I'd suggest some experiments with strain gauges on static granite over periods of time. I have the electronics to record such data, it can be weather-proofed and left up there, nobody is going to find it - periodic data retrieval will produce enough data to keep even me happy! Dartmoor up the road is riddled with granite, from small chips to massive multi-ton blocks. Dartmoor also has miles and miles of granite stone walls, some with blocks over 2 tons - these walls are 3-4' high and at least 2' thick. God only knows who built them, it would have taken hordes of labourers and years and years to complete. Dartmoor is 90% wasteland, they don't grow anything but the odd tree on it, and there are very few animals or livestock up there - it's too damned bleak with extreme nights. So why these miles of walls?
I had to restart my Pyramid model due to computer failure, but I hope some maths, astronomy and geometry will eventually support my contentions above - I'm working on it.
