Ancient Origins Article on Atlantis in the Caribbean Sea (4 replies)

I found an interesting article on Atlantis being in the Caribbean Basin on Ancient Origins. The article's author claims to have discovered a structure resembling Plato's Atlantis at the coordinates 17°09'51.16" N 65°03'31.45" W, namely one with concentric rings. Supposedly, the width of the each of the so-called concentric rings is identical to the measurements specified by Plato. I personally believe Atlantis was located either in Antarctica or Indonesia, but the author's article seems to have actually provided evidence of a "city" with concentric rings, something that is lacking in the Antarctic and Indonesia theories. It's not stated in the article explicitly, but it is implied that the Caribbean Basin was once a dry and habitable basin similar to how the Mediterranean Basin was over 5 million years ago, whereupon it was flooded at the end of the last Ice Age, and when the basin was flooded and the Caribbean Sea formed, Atlantis was destroyed.

This is how Atlantis was supposed to look, according to its description given by Plato:

And this is the feature that the author has found.

It looks pretty similar to me...of course, it could just be an image artifact. That's what Jason Colavito thinks, at least, according to the views he has expressed in his article criticizing the Ancient Origins article.. Could this really be Atlantis?
