First of all let me start by saying I m a huge fan of Graham Hancock and I think the work he has done has been very important to our understanding how and when civilization emerged and progressed.
Hancock, as well as many others have suggested it would have been impossible to carve granite with the tools available at the time even though this is demonstrably false as in this example - [youtu.be]
My question is: has this idea of impossible drilling/cutting technology from ancient Egypt and elsewhere been dropped or is this still up for debate as being evidence for a far more advanced civilization using an unknown technology?
