So I just moved to Turkey for unrelated reasons, my wife and I were driving around, taking advantage of the empty roads and our current foreigner status, we decided to check out this place called "the Pink Rocks" about 2.5 hours drive from İstanbul.
We were both astounded to find a place that had almost no history written of it and it seems like a megalithic site. It has huge stones with what looks like plumbing cut into it, even a huge embankment of material that looks like formally liquid flowing into some of this plumbing. It also decends into the black sea, I am sure it continues down into the sea if someone were to dive it.
Tons of bore holes everywhere too that look old as everything else, at least one t-key, ports, and channels cut into the stone, even a giant embankment of some that looked liquid at some point flowing into one of these channels, pretty wild all things considered, here's some photos, enjoy! I hope I can better document this place in the future or find more info from the locals.
