Looking at the composition of the stone blocks which are conductive composed of Granite and flecks of metal. Within the Grand Gallery there is what appears to be Atomic converters (the Step structure) these impose an Atomic conversion of 10:1 to 50:1 respectively. This pattern is used throughout the whole design. I believe there are more chambers that have yet to be discovered. If this was the case then the Hydraulic input through the base of the Pyramid would split between the Grand Gallery and the Queens chamber. I believe the Pyramid was a highly advanced type of Air Purifier. I know it sounds crazy but If you apply physics to the design it does make sense.
