May one prove that Egyptians used advanced (by modern standards) technology or knowledge to build pyramids? (14 replies)

The pyramids, especially the ones at Giza, are an amazing mind puzzle. The idea that Egyptians had advanced knowledge or technology by modern standards is fascinating. May one prove such an idea? I would like to please ask you a few questions and in the next message will try to make some answers myself.

1. What do you think are the strongest pieces of evidence that either advanced technology or knowledge was used in building the pyramids (particularly those at Giza)?

2. May one prove that the pyramids were built for a purpose other than as a simple burial place for a corpse and for its soul's spiritual ascent?

3. May you please recommend an article that is not long, a few pages, in which the most persuasive, clearest argument is made that advanced technology was used?

4. What do you think the strongest argument is that in Egypt in general there was advanced technology?

For me the best evidence would be the pyramids, although I don't know the answer to the previous questions.

5. Do you think that in Egypt further excavations could bring up amazing discoveries like Edgar Cayce's proposed "Hall of Records?" If you were allowed to lead such excavations, where would you go to dig?
