Avenues leading to Giza pyramids (no replies)

Hello

I thought I would offer up some images identified from a little investigation to do with some roads leading to the Giza pyramids. I had pondered whether these roads were built atop ancient avenues that looked toward the horizon at a particular time of the year, directing toward the pyramids on the one hand, and what could be seen upon the horizon on the other hand. It doesn’t take long to play with Google Earth, Stellarium and a photo editing app to make some assumptions.

The possibility that they don’t reflect the time period of Khufu is necessary to offer up a different way to view them, as if they did reflect the time period of Khufu, then they might aim at any of a number of stars setting upon the horizon. A better time period is c. 12,000BCE.

I’ve used this time period – which is close to my favoured c. 12,140 BCE and the beginning of a Precession cycle when Sirius is lowest upon the horizon – because of where the Sun is at sunset and what it is next to: Taurus.

The Sun is setting in the direction the avenues aim at toward the horizon. Take the day back to sunrise, and this is how it looks.

I would like to bring in an image of the plateau now.

And now merge the last two images.

And finally, show a last image.

The potential is there...the sky being mimicked upon the landscape, showing Orion's belt stars as the pyramids, and the Sun located in a certain spot.

Just wondering what folk might think of such a thing.

Thanks
