Birkenhead Alignment (no replies)

I posted some threads on this topic last year. Triggered by Talisman/The Master Game, it seemed that the alignment of Birkenhead, planned as a "New Jerusalem" in the 1840s with probable masonic influence, corresponded with those of DC, Paris etc. A glance at Google Earth will show this. It's been confirmed by someone far more expert than me in this area, Scott Onstott. Tomorrow is August 14. I don't know if visiting the site would be significant. I live in Indonesia, a retired schoolteacher and scribbler of verse with minimal math and geodesic/astronomical skills, so I can but envision. Michael Seabrook, you were going to try and visit. Martin Stower, you were more than sceptical but you obviously know the town so I know you would avoid the "Birkenhead confetti" on Cleveland Street. "Celestial Birkenhead" - no oxymoron, I propose.

The streets of central Birkenhead appear to be aligned to the heliacal rising of Sirius, although they line up not during sunrise as you might expect, but during sunset on that day. I have attached a screen capture of the data from NOAA, a very accurate sun angle calculator. This shows that the azimuth of sunset lines up perfectly with the street grid on August 14, which is approximately the time for the heliacal rising at that latitude.

The layout of central Birkenhead is celestially aligned like Pennsylvania Ave or the Champs Elysee, just as you suspected.
