In Victoria Australia,a cooking Pit was discovered on a beach that has given an age of approximately 120 thousand years old using state of the art dating techniques. ( I quick google search should get you all up to speed ) I'm also aware of the mammoth bone butcher site in the USA that dates to around this same time, I found it interesting that the dates are similar and I'm thinking it could give evidence to modern humans or other humans being wide spread throughout the entire globe by this time. I would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts. Also I think Australia and South America could be the key to understanding what happened on a global scale at the end of the last ice age, as the animal life in these place also suffered extinctions on a massive scale. I would love to see more interest in these places and their history.
This is my first post and would love to hear some of your ideas.
Thanks.
