Secrets of the past have been hidden away for us (1 reply)

The truth is that good men have long known how critical records are in everything (For knowing how many plants you need next year). Libraries popped up. Ephesus, Alexandria, Pergamum. They all were making copies spreading them. All I’m trying to do it look at what we know for sure.

So lets consider Herodotus when he said he went to Egypt and met with their priests / historians and they told him his peoples own history!! They were spreading it all out openly. But also we’re building hidden libraries to be vaults of knowledge. The example I’m most familiar with is the Labyrinth of Egypt. Its there and it’s filled with scrolls. It may be flooded tho :/ Whats critical is that this Labyrinth was positioned out of the way and the books were all stored deep inside of a massive labyrinth. They knew they importance of what they knew. There’s much more to the story.
