The following "Enigma hypothesis" is the product of my own thought experiment that i decided to write down. Their is no sense of writing something if no one reads it.

Enigma Hypothesis
Author: J.G.Boyer

At present, we are faced with many enigmas from humanity’s conceived historical past. Many of these have an explanation that no longer seems plausible due to discoveries that have been made since their inception. With many narratives at play it seems mystically difficult for humanity to update the historical record once new evidence is discovered that is contradicting to the current hypothesis. Such resistance to change seems to be inherent to a high percentage of humanity. We as a species must overcome these short comings because it may eventually cause the demise of the human kind. This may sound extreme but if we ignore facts to retain the status quo we will not prepare for the future correctly and we will have not learned from our past. Therefore humanity may fall victim to an extinction level event similar to what our ancestors faced. Our ancestors faced one, if not many more cataclysms throughout history. I think we all can agree that such an event is credited to the extinction of the dinosaurs. History repeats itself especially when the accepted version is incorrect.
Pre-history: many unexplained enigmas are from a time before our documented history. The known history seems to begin after the last cataclysm on this planet. An event such as a magnetic pole reversal or shift would cause such an immense catastrophe that almost all evidence of our existence would disappear. Such as in the case of Atlantis or the great pyramids, both are types of enigmas. One being that there is existing documentation but no evidence, the second having no documentation but existing evidence respectively. One could argue that there is a lot of documentation on the pyramids, yes there is but none of any value in this scope. Being the construction. Egyptians documented almost everything except their greatest accomplishment! I doubt it, doesn’t make sense. More than likely they were a power play inheritance. So what was their purpose? Their isn’t a single answer, some had functions and some where copies. The Great pyramid had a specific purpose intended due to numerous resonant cavities. A construction of this magnitude doesn’t accidentally produce resonant cavities.
What were they for, I tried this thought experiment many times with the only limitation was nothings off the table. My best guess so far is that these ancients believed that the precession of this oblate spheroid we call earth was the cause of cataclysms in their past. Thais why we see so much astronomy throughout ancient civilizations across the globe. From the layout of structures or documented star observations its all over, granted they didn’t have smart phones to stare at, that we know of, so they were probably looking up more because its a constantly changing backdrop. I think that one or maybe many pyramids were placed to reduce the precession of the equinoxes. Which I don’t think we could debunk that theory or that it could be plausible today. Maybe the shafts from the kings and queen chambers of the great pyramid were used to measure star alignments in relationship to precession of the equinox. Stacking weights up into a pyramid shape on a spherical object that is rotating while its hurling through space will change its flight characteristics and when gravity is entered into the equation one would think that it would multiply such changes. Its like balancing a tire, before being balanced it wobbles or vibrates once balanced it rides smooth no vibration no wobble. This could also reduce some causes of earth quakes.
With so many pre-history discoveries or rediscoveries in the past few years raises a lot of questions some seem to be connected in some various ways yet some seem so disconnected. Take for instance the great masonry of Peru and the cave cities in turkey. Many of the Peruvian historical sights are earthquake proof masonry that could probably withstand an atomic blast atop of the Andes mountains. Where as the caves of Turkey with there rolling stone doors where protection from a different adversary. The Peruvian adversary looks to be cataclysms whereas in turkey the protection was from a predator perhaps dinosaurs. Caves are also known as graves, a great flood would have been catastrophic to cave dwelling societies. Makes me wonder how much of the earth was covered in water and for how long. Some of the cave civilizations must have survived as we can see similar tool marks on ancient exterior temples as we see in caves. Such tool marks can be seen in the remarkable stone work in India as well as in Egypt with the unfinished obilisque.
There are many enigmas that may have had a huge impact on humanity. Lets look at our moon for example, probably the biggest enigma there is but when you see something almost every day its easy to take it for granted. The moon is definitely no exception. Conspiracies have developed around this discovery due to the policy that was exercised at the time. For example: When the Apollo mission came back from the moon. To the world those Astronauts were like rock star super heroes yet at the first press conference these brave men did not look the part. They didn’t act as if their mission was successful, thus causing the suspicion that the mission was faked. That I believe was a misinterpretation by the public at that time. Those brave men were still in shock at what they had learned due to the success of their mission in my opinion. These men were most surely told that they could not talk about their discovery because it most likely would cause wide spread panic at the time. At the time it very well could have, one could debate that forever but that was the policy decision made at that time. Lets put ourselves in a position to have to make that decision. Its a tough one on one hand the truth will set you free but if your betting against the possible collapse of civilization due to such a discovery, is a hard call to make. This may explain why Neil Armstrong pretty much disappeared into obscurity and why Buzz Aldrin had some problems later in life. What a burden to have to carry, people would approach Buzz on his way into speak at a convention and want him to swear on a bible that we really went to the moon. In this instance Buzz punched the guy. All because of the moon being the biggest enigma ever right in front of our face. That's why we don’t see it. Lets look at some facts about the moon. The moon is ¼ the size of the earth but 1/8 of the mass. That alone should tell us it is not made of the same stuff as earth. So that would eliminate a bunch of moon formation theories. The Earth’s moon is the biggest moon in our solar system? That doesn’t seem natural. The Earth’s moon has a nearly perfectly circular orbit. The only celestial body that we have observed to have such an orbit. That doesn’t seem natural. The fact that its tidal locked to the earth and we only see one side, that does not seem natural. The fact that its size and distance from the earth to the sun is a nearly perfect eclipse, what are the odds of that happening? That doesn’t seem natural. There are many more controversial theories of the moon. Its seems from the study of moon rocks from Apollo it consists of many desirable elements such as helium3, titanium, chromium, and manganese. The last three together would make a very strong durable lightweight hull or shell. That doesn’t seem natural. One thing that came out of the Apollo missions was the seismic testing. Seismic sensors were placed on the moons surface and the lunar lander was dropped once the astronauts had joined back up to the capsule. Essentially a crude ground penetrating radar, measuring the response of the sound wave traveling through the moon. This is were it gets dicey so throw on your tin foil hat and listen up. The response was not what one would’ve expected, instead of a short reverberation that was expected similar to the earths response to such test. The moon rang for nearly an hour. That doesn’t seem natural. There are ancient tribes still in existence today that have stories within their folklore of a time before the moon was here and what it changed of the environment. Such as the moon bringing cycles to not only the earth as in seasons but also to the organisms upon the earth. There was said to always be a thick haze of moisture in the air, which wouldn’t allow as much sunlight to hit the planet as today so global temperatures would be much lower. Possibly explaining the ice age. With the moon’s arrival also bringing cycles to organism on the planet which we know exist today in correlation to the moon phase calendar. This caused a substantial increase of fertility among said organisms. Reproductive cycles changed from unpredictable instances a couple times are year to every thirty days. The haze of moisture in the air fell to the ground once the moons gravity was introduced possibly causing a great flood due to not only the air born moisture falling to the ground but also allowing more sunlight to reach the surface of the earth raising its core temperature. This would in turn cause the ice shelves to recede fairly swiftly which could’ve cause a flood event of unimaginable magnitude. One such event that could have destroyed Puma Punku the way that it was. Simulations have been carried that have reduced the possible causes of its destruction to one type. Being bombarded with an immense amount of water. Puma Punku sits at 12,500 ft above sea level. That's over 2.5 miles above sea level. That would’ve nearly wiped the earth clean of nearly all existence on this planet. I believe that still many types of evolved humanoids were still in existence after this event. That raises the question as to where these other forms of intelligence are today. There was documentation of highly advanced societies among natives by the first Spanish explorers to south America. Then subsequent expeditions didn’t find evidence of many of their predecessors claims. This was due to another force as strong as a cataclysm yet invisible- small pox. Lack of immunities is what finally curbed the population to the distinct races we see today. The populations before said event was much lower of a density than today. Therefore the total amount of different surviving Humanoids was reduced but with arrival of the moon having a large impact in fertility created a higher population density of diversity that remained. With increasing population density should impact the size of individuals. At a time of much lower populations the human race was probably much larger, reducing in size as population increased. That may be why there are so many stories in folk lore throughout history pertaining to giants in one form or another. I have begun to believe that the moons arrival was probably what could be described as divine intervention. The moon may be the cause of humanities amnesia. The moon could have well be the changing factor of a cycle of cataclysms of this planet, therefore changing the trajectory of humanity due to the lack of impending doom with a coming cataclysm. I'm not a conspiracy theorist on the contrary I simply look at the evidence and explore theories that the evidence supports. In our past history has been put together like putting a round peg through a square hole. Just because something will fit doesn’t mean that its correct. I look for theories that fit the evidence not changing or ignoring evidence to fit the theory. Much of history was written from theories that were made at a time when there was a lack of evidence and its easier to stick with what we know than to change our whole concept of history. The right decision is almost never the easy one. We are the human species we need to be more as one, our rights to truth are equal regardless of location, ethnicity, language, or borders. Throughout all known history there is only one thing that rings true forever and always is change. Holding on to the status quo will never be profitable for the long term, not to mention unproductive. Combating something that's inevitable will always be a losing venture. The truth always seems to surface, depending on the amount of time it takes is a direct reflection of the success rate of any endeavor.
This a theory, with the definition of a theory is a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained. We as humans are on the cusp of a time of enlightenment as basic intelligence increases among humans and the advancements of the speed and spread of information increases the more enlightened we will become, this is inevitable. These are just a few of the enigmas that face humanity there are many many more out there can you find them?
