I am newbie to this message board. Recently got to watch Ancient Apocalypse. In the series, the common thread between all cultures appeared to be structures based on comic movement of Sun, star and moon.
Saw a stunning coincidence in the research about ancient Tamil civilization which is assumed to have existed and it was below India connecting Srilanka and India (called as Kumari Kandam) prior to the Great flood...
Also researcher Ravichandran Sir has done a detailed research on ancient temple Architectures (in Tamilnadu) which is built to align with the movements of sun, moon and star. Ancient temples in Tamilnadu were exactly aligned to precision of degrees to the movement of sun. In old temples, there is a huge flag pole called "Kodi maram" in each temple which is used as a reference point to study the movement of sun, star and moon. The equinox, Summer and Winter Solstices align precisely to the Kodi maram of the temples. In ancient Tamil civilization people used this temple Architectures to provide guidance on agriculture studying the movement of sun, star and moon. Decisions like when to sow, reap and harvest were taken based on the movements of sun, moon and stars. The temples were used as reference points. Particularly in cities like Thanjavur and Kumbakonam, we have huge temples built almost in every village where this structure is replicated. These cities have flourished in agriculture in those days and were called "Rice bowl of Tamilnadu"
