Timeline: The key to everything (18 replies)

I am new to this board and community, so if my questions and theories are thoughts already discovered and discussed, please excuse my timing to the discussion on the topic.

I am trying to understand what came first, the "Ice Age" or the "deluge", the fall of "Babel" or building of the "Sphinx", "Adam and Eve" or "Gilgamesh". I feel if there was an understanding of the timeline of these events (and others), it would create a solid theory about modern man's origins. I truly feel "timeline" is the key to understanding the connection between cavemen and modern man, and religions of the world.

All of the evidence of humanities history are currently a jumble of timelines. I have yet to discover a researcher that can take all of these discoveries and put them together in a concise linear timeline. I believe the person that can give a full complete accounting of all the information that has been discovered, would be able to answer the questions of not only humanity but have the key to the origins of religion and beliefs on this planet. (Maybe the last and final BIBLE of humanity)
