The Pictish Class I stones in Scotland have beautifully carved hieroglyphs that date to 1200BC. These have been deciphered and identified as being what we would call constellations and are likely to have represented a pantheon of prehistoric stellar deities.
Some of the carved Pictish symbols however appear to closely resemble deep space objects with characteristic particular shapes when viewed through a telescope. The identity of these galaxies and nebulae is confirmed by their declination that is indicated by a carved Pictish Quadrant symbol (the "Crescent and V-Rod") that identifies the angle of the galaxy or nebula relative to the celestial pole.
For this proposal to be correct would require the Picts to have been in possession of a telescope 2800 years before Galileo! Obviously an idea that would be immediately dismissed by most people (not just archaeologists).
However the plans to four different powerful reflector telescopes (equivalent to a modern 10" Cassegrain Reflector) have now been discovered. The plans can be revealed by performing a series of set reflections in Pictish stones. So there is the controversy that these plans revealed through the "trickery" of mirrors are coincidental......but have a look and judge for yourself.

The plans should not be seen in isolation and need to be considered in the wider context of the other discoveries found in Parts 1-12 which provide supporting evidence for a lost advanced astronomical technology which may help to support Grahams contention that we have lost the knowledge of an advanced civilisation.
(Part 11 Telescope plans
Parts 4 and 5 identify the meaning of the Pictish symbols as constellations and Deep Space objects)
