It seems to me looking at history of colonization when a new technology was added to a area of aboriginal people a unbalanceing occurs with the groups. Before the introduction the groups in the area may have fought each other but a natural balance or borders where there and pretty much didn't I'm gathering. Look at the plains Indians with the horse, the Apache with guns, and in recent times the guns in new geni. My point is, it seems that a new technology could have been introduced from a past civilization and a clear sign is the disruption of the natural equilibrium in multiple places in the world
