Could the biblical flood have originated in the Himalayas? (9 replies)

There is a debate online about whether or not many of these ancient megalithic walls are in fact a product of intelligent design and actual physical labor expended. I also saw a thread on Terraformed earth.

If it is true what the ancient stories say, and the earth was all water (salt water), it would have behoved the builders to create a way to trap fresh clean rain water in the form of a caldera. On the top of a mountain. Over time (millions of years) this single mountain grew into the multure of mountain ranges we see today. Some of which, are clearly not of natural origin.

Which brings me to the picture above. There is a clear trail of same colored sediment, leading from the Himalayan plateau, directly through Mesopotamia.

If there was a large body of water in the Himalayas, and it some how broke lose, it would have left a lot of sediment all over the area...which is what we are seeing here in this google earth image. The amount of force created by that much water, would have wiped out anything not made of stone, and destroyed the outer layer of any solid structure in its wake.

Below is an area the size of the Black Sea in the Himalayas. A mega lithic building culture surly could have made a dam to hold the water, Then when ever they felt like it, opening the flood gate causing a massive flood. That would explain how Noah was able to be warned....because someone was going to CAUSE flood on this earth. Then it was going rain for a while. Which is basically how the story went.

If you have ever spilled a 50gallon tub of water on the floor, you know what happens....the surface area increases the evaporation rate dramatically. It condenses into clouds and then it starts to rain. In the case of a Himalayan sized tub of water, the amount of rain and clouds would cover the globe and INCREASE the temperature by up to 7degrees C (under full cloud cover). Which is very close to the amount the temps rose suddenly after the last ice age.

Something made the temperature rise.....

The east side of the Plateau, again, has a trail of similar colored sediment leading from the Plateau, which from its trajectory, would have caused a massive flood on the west coast of the USA, where we find similar colored sediment leading from the Pacific Ocean.

Marine fossils have been found as high up as the rocky mountains. There is plenty of evidence the area was under water at one point, and the Missoula Floods happened around the same time.

Could the biblical flood have originated in the Himalayas? Was the Missoula Floods a result of temperature rise, or a side effect of another larger flood in another part of the world?
