Tiahuanaco Feline Drawing (2 replies)

In the images shown from the different civilisations, the Tiahuanaco drawing I feel it provides more clues as to it's meaning.

The image itself is symmetrical with the exception for the hanging objects from the central figure. Both sides have a feline looking in opposite directions but from the imbalance of the objects this would be my take...

On the left you have an object that looks to be a spear with 3 prongs and I believe just above that could be a type of hammer/blade(like an axe). My opinion is that this symbolises violence or power.

On the right you have an object which looks very similar to what is used today, a thurible. My opinion is that this could be more in line with a more peaceful, meditative or religious aspect.

With the symmetry and at the top of the pillar above the figures head where all 3 "spirals" are linked (note the tails of the felines and the central spiral across the chest/stomach of the figure could this possibly be a symbol of a balance between power and peace or strength and intellect, either as a show of development of that civilisation.

It is possibly even a clan badge for lack of a better term but with variations due to region or to show sects in which there is a split between the civilisations while still retaining the original clan rule?

What are your thoughts?
