As unlikely as it might seem, there are a wealth of commonalities that can be shown to exist between Northern Scotland at around 3200 BC and ancient Egypt at the predynastic/dynastic boundary, perhaps a hundred years later. Compelling links can be demonstrated, especially by way of direct comparison to words, symbols, rituals and traditions preserved by the modern-day Dogon tribe in Mali. Suggestive linkage is provided by even a single set of comparative images - these of a Celtic Druid priest and a modern Dogon priest.
