I am one of those people who look at a map and see possibilities, such as the person who theorized about continental drift.
I look at land masses around the Gulf Of Mexico and see a semi-circle that might have been made by an impact of some kind. And the depth of the waters in it also suggests such a possibility.
Not being a scientist or even a person with a degree I wanted to post my thoughts about the Gulf Of Mexico and see if there are others who might have similar feelings.
I look at a map and think it might be possible to date the impact by the amount of sediment that has collected where the Mississippi meets the Gulf.
I do not have the education or know-how to research this and only hope to provoke a discussion by others who are much more learned than myself.
