Hi All,

This may be of interest to a few of you doing research, and in need of topographical maps.

Google earth is great, though you are confined to a relatively small area, with no practicable way of seaming the multiple images together. You can us Sketchup, though it is tedious.

I ran across this source, and it appears 1996; Lehner and others, 2008), have used it.

There is an additional link for viewing.

Fef: [earthexplorer.usgs.gov]

Once you are here: Type in your choice, ie. Giza Pyramids. Next click on "Data Sets>>".

You will be given many choices, and some of them contain restrictions.

Just the same, this seams to be the "Mother Load" of spatial information.

I have been trying to figure out how to "simulate water rise". Ref: [www.globalmapper.com.pl]

I was hoping to show where water would flow behind a dam, and/or what Lake Moeris would look like with higher amounts of water.

So far, I have been unable to download this program. If anyone has better luck, or knows of a similar program, please let me know.

Thank you, Steve
