The Barracks explained.

In a article "Waters of the Nile", archeologist encounter an issue with water, as they excavated a dig site. There is no water on the surface, though a short distance down they ran into water. To solve the dilemma, they used a natural build technique, refereed to as a "perched water condition".

Under this condition, water would naturally well upward, and flow down into the Pyramids inner reservoir. There may not be much water up on the Giza surface, though who knows what conditions are, or were a short distance down. Has anyone excavated to see how deep the front wall of the Barracks are?

I have never considered the Barracks are for men, as there are no sign of fire pits for cooking, as well as, they would be sleeping on two angles in different directions.

It wasn't long ago, they were forced to pump water out from underneath the Sphinx. Where did all that water come from?

Maybe canals were not required... This system would continually, day and night, recharge the reservoir.
