Lifting Pyramid Stones (1 reply)

Hi all,

My latest attempt to lift stones up the Pyramids, the easy way.

The key to this design, is on top of the lever, is a sliding weight. The white area is grease. There is more to this scenario, and I will list in a day or two. The sliding weight is moved by lever(s) and/or ropes. When the pyramid stone is slid, it is slid onto another machine, not shown.

The 2-3 men are only using levers. One lever moves the offset stone. The other lever slides the stone from
one machine to the next. Ropes could be employed?

To lift stones up the Pyramid steps, requires a few key procedures to take place.

1. First, each single stone needs to be easily transferred from one (lever) lift to the next in line above you.
2. As the steps afford you little working room, you need to use additional rope and levers to pull each stone off one lever platform, onto the next .
3. Casing stones in this scenario, require being placed from the top down, after all other stones have been placed.
4. No men do any lifting. They only use levers.
5. Grease & rope, and wood, are required.
6. 2 -3 men per stone per Level.
7. Once balanced, a few bags of sand, would cause this machine to lift the stone.

Khufu's Pyramid has 210 layers. I will use 100 layers, which is well past being half way built. Each layer requires one machine each. How about 300 - 600 men? I say 600, as having 2 lift section, one on each side of the Pyramid, enable us to avoid pulling a single stones on top all the way to the other side. How fast? I suspect just 300 men, who are on the Pyramid stepped face, together can do 1 stone lift per minute. Two, 3 or 4 sections would be even better. These machines alternate from side to side on each level.
