Teotihuacan, meaning City of the Gods, is located northeast of Mexico City. In Teotihuacan we find the Pyramid of the Sun. The second largest pyramid in the new world. The size of the base is 223,5 meters. The size of the Pyramid of the Sun resembles the size of size of the Great Pyramid of Giza with a base length of 230,5.
Like the Great Pyramid in Egypt, th Pyramid of the Sun is part of trio of pyramids. The alignment of these three pyramids in Teotihuacan seems identical to the alignment of the three pyramids in Giza.
At Teotihuacan, these pyramids are known as the Pyramid of the Moon (furthest north), the Pyramid of the Sun (central) and the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl. Furthermore, the alignment at both sites clearly reflects the alignment of the three stars of Orion’s Belt.
The similarities between the Pyramids of Teotihuacan and those of Giza are undeniable, but they are not identical. The Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl is not the large square that it is visible on satellite images. This large square is a plaza known as the Ciudadela, and whilst the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl is located within the Ciudadela, it measures 60m across its base. However, the Ciudadela measures 233m across the front, equal to that of the Great Pyramid, and the Pyramid of the Sun originally measured 215m, which is identical to the Pyramid of Khafre.
If you are a sceptic you could argue that this does not proof that there were any direct contact between Egypt and Teotihuacan, but that they were just using the same symbolic calculations.
Now this is where it gets more interesting. I was using Google Earth to measure the distance between the center of the Great Pyramid and the center of the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl.
The distance between the center of these to pyramids is 6666 nautical miles.
That just seems too perfect to be by chance. And measured in meters the distance is 123454321.
This number also seems too perfect to accur by chance.
And the square root of 123454321 is 11111. If you measure the distance in degrees you get 111.
