The Sumerian King List is an ancient stone tablet originally recorded in the Sumerian language, listing kings of Sumer (ancient southern Iraq) from Sumerian and neighboring dynasties, their supposed reign lengths, and the locations of the kingship.

The king list starts with 8 predynastic antediluvian rulers. According to the king list they ruled for extreme long times.
In my opinion the length that they ruled have a deeper meaning and are not actual representation of how long they ruled.

The first ruler Alulim ruled for 8 sars (28,800 years)

If you devide 28,800 years by the number of years in the precession of the equinoxes (25920), you get

1,11111111111...

The second ruler Alalngar ruled for 10 sars (36,000 years)

36000-28800 = 7200

7200 is a precesional number cause if you devide 25920 by 7200 you get 6.

If you devide 25920 by 36000 you get 0,72. It takes 72 years to move 1 degree in the precession of the equinoxes.

The third ruler En-men-lu-ana ruled for 12 sars (43,200 years)

43200-36000 = 7200. Again we get the number 7200.

If you devide 25920: 43200 you get 0,6. The number 6 is the most important number in the Sumerian sexagesimal system.

If you are interested in numerology you will see that all the ciphers in each number will add up to 9

25920: 2+5+9+2+0= 18, 1+8 = 9

28800: 2+8+8+0+0 = 18, 1+8 = 9

36000: 3+6+0+0+0 = 9

43200: 4+3+2+0+0= 9
