Just musing. What if the Denisovans, represented by a fingertip from Siberia, were the Atlanteans? They were around before Homo Sap, about the same time as Neanderthals and their DNA and language traces stretch from Taiwan to Polynesia. When Sunda was submerged, they moved up the east coast and out across the pacific, possibly past the Easter Islands to South America. The way Plato talks, they were a "people", maybe the ancestors of the EuroAsians and MesoAmericans. Their DNA gave specific immune advantages such as malaria resistance. Looking at native Taiwanese and South Americans, there's a lot of similarity. They would have looked different to the Sumerians and people of Genesis. What d'you think?
