I have never understood the proposition, that men built the Giza Pyramids, by pulling stones up any kind of ramps. It just can't be done in my opinion. Water, on the other hand, can and likely did. Water is heavy, and if applied correctly can be channeled and uses in a counter weight (Funicular) System. These topographical elevation, show where a canal could exists. The lines were set to 5 feet in elevation. The canal runs up the Nile, and also runs to a water source behind the Giza Plateau. These Topo maps are produced by using Google Earth. It's my feeling, more investigation is needed.
This map is how far it ran up the Nile. There are large sink holes, which could have contained water at some time.
This is a 3D perspective. Notice the Pyramids are in the lower left hand corner.
An Overhead View.
It appears, the ancients had water, and plenty of it.
