I earlier posted images from Gobekli Tepe showing male sperm cells. (i.e. Did early civilisations have knowledge of micro-biology?) See: [grahamhancock.com]
Given Gobekli Tepe is dated to 12,000 years before the present it is difficult to accept that our ancients were depicting male sperm. Thus it is claimed the below images from Gobekli Tepe are of snakes.
Gobekli Tepe – imagery of sperm cells
Below however are depictions of the front and back head sections of the Balikligol Statue that also has an image of a sperm cell on the back of the head.
Balıklıgöl Statue – front and back head section
The Balikligol Statue is a 2 metre high human statue found in the same area as Gobekli Tepe and is also dated to 12,000 years before the present.
Balıklıgöl Statue
It is clear that this image is not of a snake for it depicts the sperm acrosome – see below:

Image showing sperm morphology
It would seem therefore that the builders of Gobekli Tepe, not only had knowledge of male sperm, they also understood their morphology.
For those interested – I have recently completed the revision of my latest book; Living Body Earth. Currently only available in print (see my website www.robertjameson.com.au and follow link 'Where to Buy'.)
