Sudden end to last ice age (2 replies)

I know there are some theories on what ended the last ice age. Meteorite, comets etc. However i am not convinced about this. A more plausible theory in my view is that the milky ways quasar could have switched on causing the sudden thaw. There is current evidence that the milky does in fact have a quasar at its galactic centre which is currently dorment. It seems we may be heading for another ice age and this quasar on off situation could start and end each ice age. There have been many ice ages and thaws in earths history and all of them could not have been ended by meteor/comet strikes. Just a thought.
