Just browsing this video of the pyramid of Unas, apparently things were in decline at the end of the 5th Dynasty, hence his tiny pyramid.
The obvious stand out aspect of his pyramid is the wall to wall inscriptions .
This video gives you a close look at his Basalt Sarcophagus, the workmanship is stunning and comes close to the same workmanship of the Sarcophagi in the Serapeum .
The sides of this sarcophagus are like glass, with an intricate locking system for the lid, maybe its me but in view of the wall to wall inscriptions and the simple small pyramid that Unas had built then this Massive Black Basalt sarcophagus seems
out of place.
Did they build the pyramid around the sarcophagus ?
Same Guys in the Serapeum.
There's one unfinished box in an alcove so tight that it would be impossible to work on it, can anyone make sense of that.
