Does anyone know if the Was scepter could have been a lightning rod? I realize that many in museums are not made of metal but it’s not like you’d actually want to carry a real one with you, it could just be symbolic in those contexts, but would displays of power by attracting lightning to a temple be something that would have been significant? The light show of electricity is pretty awe inspiring without actual constructive use of electricity.
