Why can't religion and science both be right? What if evolution was going on throughout history and an advanced civilization set up here and started manipulating them? This was against the rules to their superiors and they destroyed what was here. Then they recreated it according to the genesis story of the Bible. I think that a lot of questions and answers can be understood by simply thinking along these lines.
