I have been spending some time this week looking up the archaeology of Gobelki Tepe (sp?). There have, I know, been many discussions about it in Mysteries, butt I think I have been confusing this hill site of stone monuments, built, covered with dirt and new ones erected on top, with information about ancient underground cities built into hillsides or something ...
I have gained the impression that these extensive living systems were also buried and new ones built on top. This has never made sense to me, but not being able to see films or pictures, I have not tried to look further.
With the continuing restrictions on movement because of Covid 19, I would like to become more educated about these neolithic sites and it will be a more interesting way to spend the time than sitting twiddling my thums!
May I ask if anyone can recommend a link or two, devoid of mysterious allusions to how these places could not have been built by the people of the times, etc, where I could learn the facts about such places? Not a lengthy study, but a good summary of some sort for instance? I would be most grateful for any help received.
