We measure the footprint of the pyramids by their base measure.

According to Flinders Petrie the mean base of casing for G1 is 9068.8 inches and

the mean base for G2 is 8474.9 inches.

I have thought that the acre is an ancient measure so lets try it with these two pyramids.

First the Second pyramid 8474.9 inches 706.241666 feet and to find the area of the base in acres square 706.2416667 = 498,777.2917 square feet.

Now to find this area in acres divide by 43560 square feet = 11.45035105 acres using a 10 digit calculator.

Remember we began in inches?

Let us take 1/10th of 11.45035105 or 1.145035105.

Then multiply them 11.45035105 x 1.145035105 = 13.11105392 acres.

This is the base of the Great Pyramid in acres.

13.11105392 x 43560 = 571,117.5086 square feet.

The side of the Great Pyramid then = 755.7231693 feet.

Or 9068.678 inches.

Remember we began in inches.
