Like many of you, I've just watched the Netflix series and seen all of the talk about snakes. What I found really interesting is how in many ancient cultures, there where stories of snakes, water, and a hero. Yet, Australia, home to one of the oldest cultures in the world and home to millions of snakes, didn't get a mention.
So, I started digging and came across what's been called the "Aboriginal Stonehenge" and the giant carving of an emu (native Australian bird) that reflected the shape of a galaxy. That's when it occurred to me, emus are only found in Australia but snakes are everywhere. What if Serpent Mound was also a galaxy and not a meteor shower? The spiral shape of the serpent's tail has really been bugging me. If the curves are done on purpose to point to solar events, then what is the tail telling us? If you do a search for spiral galaxies, you can find images just like the tail. So if the tail is a galaxy, then why is the head eating the sun? What if it's not a sun but a black hole or another galaxy? If two galaxies collide, then that could have been the event that caused the meteor shower?
Maybe than just copying the stars, they told a story of what happened?
