Greetings all,
I hope this is the right place for this comment - am new here.
Was wondering if there has been much effort to explore the bottom of the Persian Gulf for evidence of our ancestors. Given the entire gulf was dry land until the end of the last ice age and the riverine culture that we know from Iraq would have stretched all the way down what is now the gulf one might guess that this may be where civilization started only moving up to Pakistan in one direction and the Fertile Crescent when forced by flooding.
I haven’t tracked down any research on this - am not a specialist.
Sincerely,
Roger
