But thinking of the time of origin of the complex, Graham's theories and evidence raised on past civilisations and a global disaster, myths of Sumer/Egypt and others. Considering the constructions layout and location, could it have been the refuge/preserve/safe haven that has eventually come to be known as Noah's Ark.
Not a boat certainly but perhaps rather a place built to protect those in dire circumstance?
