Ancient Egyptian Symmetry (3 replies)

I am always surprised by the amount of symmetry found in Ancient Egypt. It seemed high on their list of design and engineering.

If I am not mistaken, the angle of the Grand Gallery and the Entrance / Descending Passage are the same, approx. 26.2 degrees. Add them together, and you obtain the surface angle of G1, approx. 52.4 degrees.

I run across their symmetry often. So much so, that I begin to doubt tunnels and items which do not conform to symmetry. This leads me to believe the shaft dug down to the Subterranean Chamber, was not part of the original build. Rather, individuals seeking to find hidden chambers. It could have taken place over many years.
