Is your theory correct or is it the one from pigheaded guy who wont listen to you?
before both of you can agree on theories
you need to agree on a set assumptions (not limited to)
do the pyramids exists,
do we have "writings and pictures" of them
are the pyramids solid blocks or do they contain fill,
do you agree with dating techniques, chemical analysis,
source of materials and measurements

try to find as many items of agreement as possible
some of the revered theories were proposed long ago before
before all the current evidence was known
why not make a specific list everyone can agree on
and look for a new or "revised" theory that that explains
all the evidence without ad hoc changes to explain the new findings
(If Petrie knew all this, would he have said the same thing?)
